The present invention concerns an automatic device for the plain disposition of posts for floors.

It is known that the 'posts', in the jargon of the flooring specialists, are structures placed in the corners of a room and being reference for all other floor-tiles, they must be perfectly horizontal.

This need is at present coped with by the flooring specialist by measurements with levels in all directions, with difficulties and consequent long working times, as the error of only little degrees fractions may often cause the swelling and detaching or floor portions.

It is the aim of the present invention to transform above mentioned manual operation into an automatic disposition of the posts.

The aim set forth is reached by means of the device according to the present invention consisting of a vertical upright that may be leant to the wall and provided, at its lower end, with a metal-frame shape that may be adjusted in height and blocked with a knob, for the realization of a perfectly horizontal post, after filling with sand.

The advantages of the device according to the present invention are evident for the perfect functionality, quickness and easiness which allow its use even to those not skilled in the art.

The present invention will be explained hereinbelow relating to the enclosed drawings in which an embodiment is shown.

Figure 1 shows an axonometric scheme of an automatic device according to the present invention, for the plain disposition of the posts of floors.

Figures 2, 3 and 4 show the working sequence until a perfect post is obtained.

The enclosed figures show an automatic device according to the present invention for the plain disposition of the posts of floors, comprising: a vertical upright 1 provided at its lower end with an eyelet 2 for the sliding of a knob 3, linked to a stake internal to said upright, and also linked to a frame shape 4, for the realization of the post following to sand filling and levelling;

- a rest element 5, provided with a internal return spring, placed on top of said upright 1, for receiving the floor-tile portion M, indicative for the thickness to place upon said post;

a possible level element 6, having its fulcrum aside of the lower part of said upright I ₅ for checking its perfect horizontal position, by turning upside down on the plane of said post; an ashlar plate 7, that may be placed onto the moist sand of the post to its protection till complete drying, when it will be removed for a new use.

The working of the automatic device according to the present invention may be described as follows: - in a room with already beaten planes, the flooring specialist places, below said element 5, a portion of the baked clay to be placed; he leans the device according to the present invention to the wall and sights with the upper part the finished plane; now he adjusts the device with little movements until he has obtained a perfect horizontal position shown by said level, while a thin band of rubber or similar, glued in its back part, allows a perfect adherence to the wall;

- a stake inside said device, liked to said knob, is made fall due to gravity, thus obtaining the stability of the structure;

- with a trowel or similar the sand is pressed and levelled until it reaches the level of said frame;

- the frame is removed and a perfect post obtained.
