Abstract:
An automatic dimming method and a desk lamp, the method comprising: recording a luminance which matches the distance between a human eye and a base of a desk lamp (S101); detecting a current distance between the human eye and the base of the desk lamp (S102); adjusting current luminance output according to the luminance which matches the distance between the human eye and the base of the desk lamp (S103). By means of adjusting luminance according to the distance between the human eye and the base, the present invention effectively protects the eyesight of a user and ensures a good reading experience for the user.
