Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automatic drain valve for collecting drain water from a pneumatic device and automatically discharging the drain water. According to the present invention, the automatic drain valve includes: a valve body installed on a drain outlet of a pneumatic device; a lower chamber coupled to the upper end of the valve body, and forming a first capillary extending from the pneumatic device to the inside of the valve body, and a second capillary extending from the inside of the valve body to the inside of a chamber; an upper chamber coupled to the upper end of the lower chamber, and filled with drain water through the second capillary; a valve discharge tube coupled to the lower portion of the lower chamber so as to protrude from the valve body, and including a discharge outlet extending from the upper end thereof to the lower end thereof; and a diaphragm in airtight contact with a region between the lower end of the lower chamber and the upper end of the valve discharge tube. The diaphragm is bent according to a variation in air pressure of the pneumatic device so as to discharge the drain water from the upper chamber to the discharge outlet of the valve discharge tube. The automatic drain valve has a simple and strong structure, thereby saving manufacturing and operating costs.
