Abstract:
This automatic driving support device (10), for supporting automatic driving of a vehicle (20), is provided with a position detection unit (13) and a notification control unit (14). The position detection unit (13) detects a checkpoint (P1) which is nearer, in the direction of travel, than a switching segment (Z2) for switching from automatic driving to manual driving. If the position detection unit (13) detects that the vehicle has reached the checkpoint (P1), then the notification control unit (14) controls a notification unit (60) to notify the driver of the preparations necessary for manual driving when switching from automatic driving to manual driving.
