Abstract:
The present invention provides an automatic duplication checking method. The method comprises: acquiring a document to be checked for duplication, and automatically filtering keywords of the document; establishing a document index table, the document index table comprising document indexes and one or more words corresponding to each document index; extracting words representative of subject matter, from each document, and assigning the extracted words with document indexes according to the document index table; searching the document index table for the document indexes corresponding to the keywords, and retrieving documents comprising the discovered document indexes in a database; calculating the similarity between each word in the document and each word in the retrieved documents, to obtain a word similarity; according to the word similarities, calculating the similarity between the document and the retrieved documents. Further disclosed in the present invention is an automatic duplication checking device. The automatic duplication checking method and device provided in the present invention can efficiently and accurately determine the similarity between a document and retrieved documents.
