Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an automatic electrospray spraying apparatus and method for preparing a mass spectrum imaging sample. The automatic electrospray spraying apparatus for preparing a mass spectrum imaging sample comprises: a spray capillary; an injection mechanism, an outlet end of which communicates with an inlet end of the spray capillary; a high-voltage power source, which is electrically connected to the spray capillary; and a mechanical arm, which is used for driving the spray capillary to move. In the present solution, micron-sized tiny fogdrops are generated by means of the electrospray principle, such that the spraying of a derivatization reagent and a matrix can be realized; and compared with the prior art, the present solution has an order-of-magnitude improvement in the degree of fineness of liquid droplets, it is guaranteed that a derivatization reaction does not destroy in-situ information, and it is also guaranteed that crystal grain of matrix crystallization have a small size and uniform distribution, thereby ensuring the mass spectrum imaging quality. In addition, in the present solution, a mechanical arm is further used for operating a spraying process, such that the spraying process is more flexible, the efficiency is higher, and the reagent can be automatically sucked and replaced, thereby realizing full-automatic sample preparation for multi-reagent spraying, such as superposed spraying of the derivatization reagent and the matrix.
