Abstract:
An automatic-engine-stop vehicle (100) comprises a clutch part (11), a power cut-off state holding unit (81) that can hold the state of the clutch part when the clutch part is switched to a power cut-off state due to a driver operation, a control unit (90) that controls the power cut-off state holding unit, and a detection unit (79) that detects whether the driver operation for switching the clutch part to the power cut-off state has been performed. If prescribed engine automatic stop conditions are met and the detection unit detects that the driver operation for switching the clutch part to the power cut-off state has been performed, the control unit causes the power cut-off state holding unit to hold the power cut-off state and then causes the engine to automatically stop.
