Abstract:
An automatic exposure method and device. The method comprises: an image collection step: setting an initial target brightness and a plurality of exposure parameters, and collecting an image under the plurality of initial exposure parameters; a brightness measurement step: measuring the current brightness of the collected image; an exposure estimation step: adjusting the initial exposure parameters used in the image collection process when the current brightness does not match the initial target brightness, to obtain a pre-estimated image brightness matching the initial target brightness, wherein in the case where at least one of the plurality of initial exposure parameters is adjusted and the pre-estimated image brightness still does not match the initial target brightness, resetting a target brightness, and adjusting the plurality of exposure parameters used in the image collection process for the second time according to the reset target brightness until the pre-estimated image brightness matches the reset target brightness; and an exposure correction step: recollecting an image using the plurality of adjusted exposure parameters.
