Abstract:
An automatic extraction apparatus for extracting a specific component material contained in a liquid sample for determining the concentration of the component material which has a vibrating means vibrating a container for extraction containing the liquid sample and an organic solvent, to thereby extract the component material with the organic solvent, characterized in that the vibrating means is capable of operating in a manner such that the container is vibrated along a letter of 8 in a horizontal plane. The apparatus is free from the formation of emulsion in the container for any type of the liquid sample and the organic solvent and can achieve improved efficiency of extraction of a component material.
