Abstract:
Feeding system capable of automatically feeding a resin material to an injection molding machine without the need of providing any feeding pipes and being installed easily in a factory. This system applies to a system provided with a plurality of injection molding machines. A filling station is provided, which is equipped with a resin tank in which a resin material is stored, a container to which the resin material is fed from the resin tank, and a connecting means used to connect the resin tank to the container if necessary. A carrier having a clamping means is moved on rails laid so as to pass over the injection molding machines and the filling station. The connecting means is controlled by a control unit. This control unit is also adapted to control the movement of the carrier, and the container is thereby transported by the carrier via the clamping means, the resin material being then fed from the container to an injection molding machine.
