Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an automatic fire-extinguishing device which can detect a fire at temperatures not higher than 120°C and which, after installation, can be maintenance-free over a long period.
This automatic fire-extinguishing device comprises a pressure vessel in which a fire-extinguishing agent and a propellant are enclosed, a vessel valve attached to the opening of the pressure vessel, and a fire-detecting tube (14) connected to the vessel valve, wherein the fire-detecting tube (14) comprises a tubular resinous base layer (22) and a gas-barrier layer (18) laminated thereto, the resinous base layer (22) being constituted of a thermoplastic resin and the gas-barrier layer (18) being constituted of an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer resin (EVOH resin).
