Abstract:
An automatic fire-extinguishing system and method for a cable tunnel. The system comprises: an inspection robot (3), a positioning robot (6), and a guide rail (2) which is fixed to the top in the tunnel, wherein the inspection robot (3) and the positioning robot (6) are respectively connected to the guide rail (2), and the positioning robot (6) is arranged in a groove of the inspection robot (3) and can be driven by the inspection robot (3) to move along the guide rail (2); and the positioning robot (6) can independently enter and exit an internal space of the inspection robot (3) along the guide rail (2), and the positioning robot (6) is used at a preset position away from a fire source to control a built-in fire-extinguishing mechanism to extinguish a fire. The system achieves both fire-fighting medium connection and fire extinguishing by means of providing the inspection robot (3) and the positioning robot (6), and achieves the rapid removal and placing of batteries by means of the cooperation between a first locking mechanism and a second locking mechanism, thereby improving the cable tunnel fire-extinguishing inspection efficiency.
