Abstract:
A glass ampule cutting device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, relates to a glass ampule cutting device which melts a local part of a glass ampule by using a heating wire so as to cut the same and form a hole, the device comprising: a grip unit, which receives and grips the glass ampule at a supply location, and rotates; a heating wire unit including a heating wire for forming either a cut part or a hole in the glass ampule; a sensor unit for sensing the grip unit and the heating wire; a control unit for analyzing data having been transmitted from the sensor unit; a gripper transfer unit for receiving the data, which is analyzed by the control unit, and transferring the grip unit to a cutting location; a heating wire transfer unit, which receives the data analyzed by the control unit so as to transfer the heating wire unit such that a cross section of the cut part or the hole of the glass ampule is formed; and a power source unit, which receives the data analyzed by the control unit so as to transfer electrical resistance heat according to locations of the heating wire and the grip unit. Therefore, the occurrence rate and mixing of glass dust are prevented and a liquid can be readily extracted from the inside of the ampule when the glass ampule is cut and the hole is formed.
