Abstract:

[Problem] To provide an automatic hair washing device that can wash hair in a manner that feels similar to hand-washing hair. [Solution] This automatic hair washing device comprises a washing unit 10 that comprises: a cover member 11 having a head retaining space 11h into which a person's head is to be placed; a plurality of contacts 12 that are shaft-like members and are disposed on the inner face 11a of the cover member 11 so as to be able to move in the respective axial directions thereof; and a biasing means 20 for biasing the plurality of contacts 12 toward the head retaining space 11h. In the washing unit 10 , the cover member 11 is disposed so as to be able to move along a person's head, and the biasing means 20 can bias the plurality of contacts 12 toward the head retaining space 11h such that even if the plurality of contacts 12 move, the force applied to a person's head from the plurality of contacts 12 is approximately constant.
