The invention is related to an automatic hard floor cleaning head, which eliminates labor and inconvenience of dismantling and re-assembly of the head to clean floor cloth wipe, by its efficient structure and ability to auto-clean itself, eventually relieving the user from extra effort.

Background

Hygiene is an essential part of our life. In particular, it is aimed to prevent spending long hours and efforts of those individuals who has to carry out house cleaning, especially by utilising apparatus to assist cleaning. Those kind of apparatus that provides convenient methods in cleaning are highly appreciated by individuals such as ladies who are challenged to balance their work life and responsibilities at home, or cleaning professionals etc.

Contact of cleaning material to the floor surface is provided by manually pushing and moving the automatic hard floor cleaning head towards the floor. Those apparatus are, in general, handled by their hangrips with both hands. This sometimes brings difficulty, if an individual cannot use both hands for any reason. The invention ensures the cleaner to be applied properly to the floor and provides cleaning. The force applied can be controlled by the pressure that the user applies to the appartus.

The objective of the invention, automatic hard floor cleaning head, prevents hands to grow tired due to difficult body posture during cleaning of the floor with a cloth while bending towards the floor. Consequently, easy cleaning and resulting hygiene is achieved. Also, because the head is able to clean itself, cleaning gets shorter and easier by eliminating the need to wash the cloth in a bucket. Also, because the wiping cloth is kept clean all the time, dirt will not be transported form one area to another.

5.1 Lever Description of the invention

The invention's objective is related to an automatic hard floor cleaning head with ability to clean itself to keep the head clean all the time, which can be moved and directed without big forces, eventually preventing mid or long term negative effects of classical cleaning methods that requires one to bend over the floor and overloading knees, and, eliminating the necessity to wash the wipe cloth several times during cleaning. Automatic hard floor cleaning head consists of five essential elements, which are, vacuum cleaner head(l), vacuum cleaner head cover (2), gear (3), roller wheel (4) and rolling wipe cloth (5). The rolling wipe cloth (5), which rotates with rolls, rotate rolls forward when rolls are upper position. There are four gears (3) on each roll, which are also coupled to a roller wheel (4). This mechanism helps to know if the head is being moved forward or backwards. Levers (5.1) placed between gears (3) and the rolling wipe cloth (5), ensures wipe cloth to contact floor surface when the head is being moved forward, thus roller wheels (4) are rotating forward. When the head is being moved backwards, i.e. roller wheels (4) are rotating in reverse direction, levers (5.1) pulls the rolling wipe cloth (5) upwards, ensuring it to contac with vacuum part of the head. With this principles, dirt and dirty water on the floor is being wiped in forward movement by the rolling wipe cloth (5), and, rolling wipe cloth (5) is getting cleaned by vacuum in backwards movement, providing a cleaned cloth for the next forward movement.
