Abstract:

An automatic money transacting apparatus for paying&sol receiving money automatically in response to the operation of a customer. At a predetermined position in a paper currency handling window opened&sol closed by a shutter, there is disposed a crime preventing camera capable of imaging when the shutter is opened, together with a sensor for detecting the insertion of a hand into the paper currency handling window. When it is detected that the customer inserts a hand into the window to take the paper currency, the figure including the hand of the customer is imaged by the crime preventing camera. As a result, the figure of the customer can be imaged to prevent a crime without making the customer conscious of the presence of the camera.
