Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automatic optical photographing system for an ocean pillar drilling core specimen and a photographing method therefor and, more specifically, to an automatic optical photographing system for an ocean pillar drilling core specimen and a photographing method therefor, the system capable of acquiring an accurate image by cutting a long core (pillar drilling) deposit having a length of at least 1m and up to dozens of m by a predetermined length, accommodating the cut deposit in a specimen tray in which a length measuring part is formed, section-photographing the specimen without distortion by a camera automatically moved in the directions of x, y and z axes by means of a control part, and composing the section-photographed images in an accurate position without errors on the basis of the measurement indicated by the length measuring part.
