Abstract:
An automatic pet feeding apparatus and a usage method thereof. The automatic pet feeding apparatus comprises a rack, a hopper for pre-storing food is arranged above the rack, a spout for holding food which can be directly eaten by a pet is arranged below the rack, a discharging hole is arranged below the hopper, the spout directly faces the discharging hole, an electronic switch for controlling opening or closing of the discharging hole is also arranged on the hopper, a camera for monitoring a condition of the pet and a weight sensor for acquiring the weight of food in the spout are arranged on the rack, and a data transmission module for transmitting a signal to a mobile terminal of a carer is also arranged on the rack. According to this apparatus and the usage method thereof, a condition of a pet can be monitored to automatically deliver food for preventing the pet from being starved, and the use is convenient, which is advantageous for the pet to grow healthily.
