Abstract:
An automatic processing apparatus for manufacturing a bus bar assembly by cutting a bus bar plate into a plurality of bus bar pieces and forming these bus bar pieces integrally with an insulation board. The automatic processing apparatus comprises a bending means having punches (38) and (61) installed in a holding units (30) and a punching unit (50) and projecting to the mating units and bending dies (17d) and (62) bending a tab to a right angle in association with the mating punches and a transient means for transiting the projected configuration of the bending means so that the punches (38) and (61) are projected to the mating units at least in the first lifting operation of a cope (16) to bend the tab and the punch (38) is retracted to the inside of the holding unit (30) when the bus bar plate is placed on the holding unit (30).
