Abstract:
By comparing the dimension data on material data registered in a material database to the dimension data on a product model, it is possible to select the smallest material data containing a product shape from the material database and create a material model according to the selected material data. Thus, it is possible to automatically select the smallest material data containing the product shape from the material database.
