Abstract:
Disclosed are an automatic sample-changing device and method for a particle beam radiation sample. The device comprises a sample pan unit (1), a sample pan conveying unit (2), a sample pan transporting unit (3), and a sample pan radiation stage unit (4), wherein the sample pan unit (1) is used for having a sample to be irradiated (5) loaded thereon; the sample pan conveying unit (2) is used for carrying the sample pan unit (1) and delivering same to a radiation room; the sample pan transporting unit (3) is arranged between the sample pan conveying unit (2) and the sample pan radiation stage unit (4) and is used for transferring the sample pan unit (1) on the sample pan conveying unit (2) to the sample pan radiation stage unit (4) or transferring the sample pan unit (1) on the sample pan radiation stage unit (4) back to the sample pan conveying unit (2); and the sample pan radiation stage unit (4) is used for carrying the sample pan unit (1) transferred by the sample pan transporting unit (3) and moving the sample to be irradiated (5) on the sample pan unit (1) to a particle beam radiation area for exposure to radiation. The automatic sample-changing device and method realize automatic exchanging between sample pans without having to wait for the ambient radiation level in a radiation room to drop to a safe range, thereby saving on the time of a beam current of particle beams and improving the utilization efficiency of a beam current.
