Abstract:
An automatic side edge sealer for a sheet material, comprising a sheet material conveyor (1), side edge sealing mechanisms (2) and a cutting mechanism (3) for cutting a tape. Two sets of side edge sealing mechanisms are respectively provided on both sides of the sheet material conveyor; each side edge sealing mechanism comprises an adhesive tape placement table (201); an adhesive tape fixing roller (202) is provided on the adhesive tape placement table; an adhesive tape roll (203) is rotatably connected to the adhesive tape fixing roller; an adhesive tape guide and pressing mechanism (4) is provided at the position of the adhesive tape placement table close to the sheet material conveyor; the adhesive tape guide and pressing mechanism (4) is connected to a spring by means of a connecting plate; the connecting plate is hingedly connected to the adhesive tape placement table; the adhesive tape guide and pressing mechanism is connected to the spring (405) by means of the connecting plate (404); the connecting plate is hingedly connected to the adhesive tape placement table; the position of the adhesive tape guide and pressing mechanism is limited by means of the spring, such that the sheet material is automatically limited and compressed. The side edge sealer can perform a side edge sealing operation for sheet materials having different specifications when the adhesive tape guide and pressing mechanism is not replaced, and does not need to be manually adjusted due to the abrasion of a pressing roller.
