Abstract:
An automatic slice collection device and method suitable for vibration slicing, the device comprising: a water trough (15), provided with a buffer (22); a vibratome, arranged within the water trough (15); a first tube, a port at one end of said tube facing a slice (17) cut by the vibratome, the other end being connected to a water pump (9) provided with a reversible motor, a first valve (1) being arranged on the first tube, a filter (8) being arranged between the water pump (9) and the first tube; a second tube, one end thereof being connected between the first valve (1) of the first tube and the water pump (9), a second valve (2) being arranged on the second tube. The collection device automatically collects sample slices during vibration slicing, does not require manual oversight and increases operational efficiency. In addition, the device is simple in structure and easily fits with different vibratomes.
