Abstract:
An automatic spray mechanism for use with a liquid spray dispenser to automatically dispense liquid in a spray form from the dispenser is described. The mechanism is mountable to an edge of a door and arranged, in use, to cooperate with the frame of the door. The mechanism comprises: a single actuating member being arranged to be movable between a non-actuating positon when the door is open and the member is disengaged from the door frame and an actuating position when the door is shut and the member is engaged with the door frame; wherein the actuating member comprises: an engagement portion at one end of the actuation member positioned about the edge of the door and having an engagement surface which in use contacts with and is displaced by the door frame as the door is closed; and an activator portion extending from the engagement portion to the other end of the member, the activator portion being arranged to engage with an operating mechanism of the liquid dispenser and to actuate the same when the member is moved from the non-actuating positon to the actuating position by displacement of the engagement surface.
