Abstract:

An automatic stacking, alignment, book clamping and conveying mechanism of a three-knife trimmer. The mechanism comprises a stacker (2), an automatic alignment module, an automatic book clamping module (5), and an automatic book conveying module. The stacker (2) comprises a layer 1 book receiver (10) implementing stacking and counting, a layer 2 book receiver (11) controlling books to be placed in synchronization with cutting knives of the three-knife trimmer, and a book receiver guide rod (12). The automatic book clamping module (5) comprises a supporting plate and a book pushing plate (32) disposed thereon and perpendicular thereto. The automatic alignment module comprises a front alignment mechanism (14) aligning books depositing onto the supporting plate with the book pushing plate (32), a right alignment mechanism (16) aligning books depositing onto the supporting plate with a book gauging mechanism (15), and the book gauging mechanism (15). The automatic book conveying module enables the book clamping mechanism to move back and forth between a place below the layer 2 book receiver (11) and a working plane below the cutting knives of the three-knife trimmer. With the mechanism, a semi-automatic three-knife trimmer can be upgraded to a full-automatic three-knife trimmer at low costs, the stacker can implement accurate counting, and books can be conveyed precisely and stably in precise synchronization with the main machine of the three-knife trimmer.
