Abstract:

This automatic surveying system has a surveying device having a distance measurement member for distance measurement using a non-prism method and a distance-measurement-member-rotation member for rotating the distance measurement member and an information processing device for controlling the surveying device. The automatic surveying system carries out: processing for driving the distance-measurement-member-rotation member so as to orient the distance measurement member toward a first measurement position of a post for surveying and acquiring distance measurement data from the distance measurement member; processing for driving the distance-measurement-member-rotation member so as to orient the distance measurement member toward a second measurement position of the post and acquiring distance measurement data from the distance measurement member; processing for identifying a normal measurement state and abnormal measurement state on the basis of the distance measurement data; and processing for, if there is an abnormal measurement state, driving the distance-measurement-member-rotation member so as to move the orientation of the distance measurement member by a prescribed amount in the direction of the position from among the first measurement position and second measurement position that is not in an abnormal measurement state.
