Abstract:
An automatic toll collector is provided with a housing set in a toll booth of a toll road
and a photographing unit set in front of the housing facing a driving lane. The
photographing unit is comprised of an operation surface camera and a certificate camera.
The operation surface camera photographs an operation area where operations are
carried out by a user of the toll road in front of the operation camera. The certificate camera
photographs an area in a direction of the tall road. An office clerk at the toll
booth explains a proper operation to a user by a microphone and a speaker while remotely
monitoring the operation area.
