Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automatic teller machine including a main body in which a paper medium is received or withdrawn, a cassette slidably mounted on or removed from the main body, and which has one side with a cassette coupler for receiving power from the main body and an interior for receiving the paper medium, a receiving unit arranged in the main body to accommodate the cassette, and which has a main body coupler to be coupled to the cassette coupler to transmit power from the main body to the cassette when the cassette is mounted in the receiving unit, and coupling units formed in the main body coupler and the cassette coupler to enable the main body coupler and the cassette coupler to be coupled with each other in such a manner that the rotation center lines of the main body coupler and the cassette coupler coincide with each other on the same axial line. The automatic teller machine of the present invention operates the cassette by using power transmitted from the main body of the automatic teller machine, thereby eliminating the necessity of a separate driving unit for driving the cassette.
