An automatic teller machine according to one embodiment of the present invention can temporarily stack paper media in an inside of a carriage, enables a rotor to rotate the carriage so as to adjust a traveling direction of the carriage, and enables the carriage to pay the paper media to one of a plurality of payment units along traveling paths thereof. In addition, an entire structure of the present invention can be simplified by forming a discharging path of the paper media to be discharged from a reject medium transfer unit to a collected medium storage unit and a discharging path of the paper media from the carriage to the collected medium storage unit in a common discharging space since the rejected paper media which are not normally transferred along a medium transfer unit and the retracted paper media which are not received in a payment unit can be collected within the same space.
