Abstract:
The disclosed automatic thoracic compression device is provided with: a pressing body that abuts the chest of a body; a driving device that moves the pressing body in a reciprocating manner; a pressure receiving section that is for reaction force arising on the driving device side to be received by the hand of a rescuer when compressing the chest of the body by means of the pressing body; and a control device that calculates the effective amount of pressing on the chest by the pressing body and controls the stroke of the pressing body that is by the driving device. As a result, it becomes possible to reliably perform thoracic compression without doing a plurality of operations.
