Abstract:

Provided is a hands-free automatic tooth-brushing device which can automatically perform an intended tooth-brushing motion. This hands-free automatic tooth-brushing device includes: a tooth-brushing motion unit 16 which is inserted into the oral cavity of a user H and is for performing tooth-brushing motion in which a brush 14 is moved while being abutted against teeth T of the user H; and a drive unit 12 which drives the tooth-brushing motion unit 16 in a manner that enables the tooth-brushing motion. The tooth-brushing motion is enabled while the entire device is held with the tooth-brushing motion unit 16 inserted into the oral cavity of the user H. The drive unit 12 has a device holding means which can hold the entire device without restricting the tooth-brushing motion and using a prescribed part inside and/or outside the oral cavity of the user H as the support point.
