The present application provides an automatic train supervision (ATS) system and a control unit server. The ATS system comprises: a control unit server and a central ATS application server. The control unit server is configured to send supervision data to the central ATS application server. The central ATS application server is configured to generate an operation command, and to send the operation command to the control unit server. The control unit server is further configured to perform protocol conversion on the operation command, and to send the converted operation command to target ground equipment. In the ATS system, a station or a depot ATS application server is not separately established, and an interlocking equipment control and display device is not separately established for the station, thereby reducing hardware costs. The supervision data is centrally processed by the central ATS application server, reducing data exchange volumes between the central ATS application server and station or depot ATS clients, and decreasing software development complexity.
