In order to realize effective and accurate transaction while enhancing the operability and shortening the transaction time by providing extra information timely at the time of transaction, e.g. inquiry of balance, cash transaction such as deposit or draw out, transfer, entry in a bankbook, or inquiry of the detail of used money or the available amount of money, an automatic transaction system (1) comprises a section (10) for displaying a plurality of normal transaction screens being used for normal transaction sequentially depending on the user’s operation, a section (10) for displaying extra information when a user performs normal transaction by operating the normal transaction screen display section, and control sections (7, 8) for controlling the normal transaction screen display section to display a normal transaction screen and controlling the extra information screen display section to display extra information depending on the normal transaction screen displayed at the normal transaction screen display section.
