Abstract:

This automatic transmission is equipped with an input shaft (1) that can be connected to an engine (5), an output gear (2), a transmission case (3), and a Ravigneaux planetary gear set (4). Four rotary components of the Ravigneaux planetary gear set (4) are referred to, in the order the components are arranged in a common velocity diagram, as a single-pinion-side sun gear (Ss), a carrier (C), a ring gear (R), and a double-pinion-side sun gear (Sd). The single-pinion-side sun gear (Ss) is connected to a motor/generator (6) at all times, and the ring gear (R) is connected to the output gear (2) at all times. In addition, a low/reverse clutch (L&R/C), a high clutch (H/C), and a low brake (L/B) are used to establish a first shift stage (1st), a second shift stage (2nd), a third shift stage (3rd), and a continuously variable transmission stage (eCVT) wherein the gear ratio can be continuously changed.
