Abstract:
An automatic turning control method for a vehicle and an automatic turning control device for a vehicle. The automatic turning control method comprises: determining whether a vehicle is in a turnable operating condition; prompting the driver to activate an automatic turning mode if this vehicle is in the turnable operating condition; and performing the following steps in response to the activation of the automatic turning mode: (a) fitting a target traveling trajectory of this vehicle according to a movement trajectory point of a vehicle ahead; (b) determining transverse control parameters and longitudinal control parameters of this vehicle on the basis of the target traveling trajectory and the current traveling trajectory of this vehicle; and (c) making this vehicle turn along the target traveling trajectory according to the transverse control parameters and the longitudinal control parameters.
