Abstract:
Provided is an automatic washing and drying apparatus for a gas mask. The present invention comprises: a wheel which has a first surface and a second surface, and which receives a driving force and rotates in one direction; a support unit having repeatedly formed along the outer edge of the wheel a pattern comprising a first support piece and a second support piece adjacent to the first support piece, the first support piece extending from the outer edge of the wheel and bent so as to be perpendicular to the first surface, and the second support piece extending from the outer edge of the wheel and bent so as to be perpendicular to the second surface; connection units detachably coupled to the ends of the first support pieces and the second support pieces and comprising an adapter having formed thereon a coupling part which corresponds and couples to a connection opening of a gas mask with the respiration canister thereof removed; a driving force transmission unit comprising a driving shaft connected to the first surface or the second surface, and a motor for generating a driving force for rotating the driving shaft; and a housing forming an internal space in which the wheel, support unit, connection units, and driving force transmission unit are accommodated. A gas mask can be washed and dried by spraying wash water and blowing hot air to the gas mask mounted on the wheel by means of the adapter.
