Abstract:
Provided is an automobile charging apparatus comprising a control device, a power supply cord, and a charge cable to be connected to an automobile, wherein the control device is provided with an electric leakage detection unit that detects electric leakage at the charging cable or the automobile, a connection detection unit that detects connection between the charging cable and the automobile, and a power supply cut-off unit that governs the feeding of electricity to the charging cable from the power supply cord, and the control device is also provided with a function to activate the electric leakage detection unit upon situations set in advance, when in a state of having a commercial power supply fed.
