Provided is an automobile door striker which exhibits, in a state where automobile doors are closed, improved durability and quietness during travelling. A striker 20 provided at a lower part of an entrance 1 of a vehicle body B has: a first engagement part 22 engageable with a door latch device 10 provided at the lower part of a door 3 with which the entrance 1 is closable and a second engagement part 23 engageable with a removal prevention part 15 disposed adjacent to the door latch device 10, the engagement parts being disposed upright on a metal base 21 fixed to the vehicle body B so as to be separated from each other; a pair of front and rear engagement pieces 21a, 21a that are disposed upright on the vehicle interior side of the base 21 and that face the first engagement part 22 and the second engagement part 23; a reinforcing piece 21b disposed upright between the engagement pieces 21a, 21a; and an elastic body 25 attached to the base 21 by means of the engagement pieces 21a and the reinforcing piece 21b. The elastic body 25 has a projection 254 that is brought into contact with an inner panel 30 of the door 3 when the door 3 is closed, and the projection 254 is supported by the reinforcing piece 21b.
