Abstract:
[Problem] The problem to be solved by this application is to provide an automobile driving system with which accidents caused by accidental depression of an accelerator/brake pedal do not occur. [Solution] In the present invention, a driver operates a steering wheel (40) with the right hand (43), operates an accelerator device with the left hand (47), and operates a brake with the right foot (49). The accelerator device is operated by pressing an accelerator lever (14) in the direction of arrow A with the thumb. This invention solves the problem through the use of a system configured in this manner. The driver may keep his foot on the brake pedal at all times. Moreover, the brake pedal is disposed in a position where the right foot would be located when the driver is in a natural posture while seated in a seat.
