Abstract:
The present invention provides an emergency call device that is mounted on a vehicle and provided with: a condition determining unit (13) for determining whether or not emergency call conditions are met; an emergency call unit (16) for establishing a call connection with an emergency call center (4) and making an emergency call to the emergency call center (4) in the case in which the condition determining unit (13) has determined that the emergency call conditions are met; an additional-information collecting unit (14) for collecting, from the vehicle, additional information that allows for better understanding of the emergency state that has arisen in the vehicle, wherein the emergency call unit (16) establishes the call connection with the emergency call center (4) while the additional-information collecting unit (14) is collecting the additional information, in the case in which the condition determining unit (13) has determined that the emergency call conditions are met.
