Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a fuel tank in which an internal component can be firmly fused to an outer wall inner surface thereof, residual stress in the outer wall inner surface is reduced, and the outer wall of the fuel tank can be protected even when the outer wall of the fuel tank is subjected to an impact or otherwise adversely affected. [Solution] A blow-molded automobile fuel tank (1) having an internally attached internal component (20) and an outer wall formed from a synthetic resin, wherein the internal component (20) is provided with a plurality of attachment members (30) for fusing to the inner surface of the outer wall (10) of the fuel tank and attaching the internal component (20). Formed in the attachment members (30) are contact parts (32) that contact the inner surface of the outer wall (10) of the fuel tank, and formed in each contact part (32) are contact surfaces (33) and a plurality of contact pins (34) extending from the contact surfaces (33) toward the outer wall inner surface of the fuel tank. Stress-absorbing parts (36) are provided to the contact pins (34), the contact surfaces (33), or the outer wall (10) of the fuel tank.
