Abstract:
An auxiliary device is driven by power from a battery and power from a charging device. When the auxiliary device such as an air conditioner is operated by power from a mains power supply by using a charging device before the system starts, then if the voltage Vb between the terminals of the battery exceeds a threshold Vref, which is the voltage at which there is a risk of overcharging a battery when the battery is being charged, the supply voltage V* of the power supplied from the charger is set to voltage V2 which is somewhat less than threshold Vref (S130). Thus, when the auxiliary device such as an air conditioner is operated by power from a mains power supply by using a charging device before the system starts, overcharging of the battery can be prevented, and the auxiliary device can be driven.
