Abstract:
An automobile painting conveyor based on a cable parallel configuration. The conveyor comprises two function parts, i.e., a traveling mechanism and a lifting and turnover mechanism. The traveling mechanism achieves the function of moving an automobile housing on a production line along a guide rail. The lifting and turnover mechanism comprises an automobile body fixing frame (6), four winches, four flexible cables (11), and a telescopic rod (14) mechanism. By winding and unwinding the four flexible cables (11) connected to the automobile body fixing frame (6) using the four winches, upward and downward translation of the automobile body fixing frame (6) along the telescopic rod (14) and two degrees of freedom of rotation thereof about the bottom of the telescopic rod (14) can be implemented. Since the conveyor uses a cable-parallel driving mode, the structure of the conveyor can be simplified, the manufacturing and processing costs can be reduced, the load capacity can be improved, and the working space can be enlarged. Moreover, the conveyor is applicable to conveying of automobile bodies of different types and sizes, and the flexibility of the painting conveyor is improved.
