Abstract:
This automobile seat is provided with: a seat body that includes a seat cushion frame; a seat supporting member; a link mechanism that allows the seat body to move between a first seat position, for an occupant-seated posture, and a second seat position which is a forward position relative to the first seat position and which is for a forward-leaning posture; and a seat locking mechanism that can perform switching between a seat-locked state, in which the seat body is restrained at the first seat position, and a lock-released state in which the restraint is released. A portion, of the seat cushion frame, positioned rearward relative to a link position of a front link is supported in a suspended state by the seat supporting member via a rear link. In the automobile seat: in a state where the seat body is disposed at the first seat position, a free-end support point of the rear link is positioned at a predetermined position which is a rear position relative to a first vertical line passing through a fixed-end support point of the rear link; and in a state where the seat body is disposed at the second seat position, the free-end support point is positioned forward relative to the predetermined position.
