Abstract:

An automobile starting control system comprises a vehicle control unit (10), a starter (20), an air conditioner (30) and a starting power source (40). The starting power source (40) comprises a starting battery (42) and a battery management system (44). In low temperature environment, when the battery management system (44) receives a signal requesting ignition sent by the vehicle control unit (10), the temperature of the starting battery (42) is detected. If the temperature is less than a preset threshold value, the starting battery (42) is connected to the air conditioner (30) for a preset duration to effectively raise the temperature of the starting battery (42) by transient large current discharge. The automobile starting control system enhances the ignition performance of the automobile in low temperature environment, extends the range of time and the area for automobile application, and improves competitiveness of the automobile. An automobile having the automobile starting control system is also disclosed.
