An automobile window glass, having: the rim section thereof attached to an automobile body flange; an infrared shielding section that reflects or absorbs a large proportion of infrared rays; and, in the lower side end section on both sides in the vehicle width direction, substantially rectangular, electromagnetic wave-transmitting sections that each transmit at least prescribed electromagnetic waves.
