Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automotive cluster ionizer. The automotive cluster ionizer according to the present invention is provided with an ion generating element for generating anions and cations by applying a driving voltage to the inside of a housing in which a hollow housing portion communicating with the outside of the housing disposed inside a case and isolated from the inside of the housing is formed, a winding coil for generating the driving voltage to be applied to the ion generating element, and a circuit board. The coil is wound inside the housing having the hollow housing portion formed therein, and a ferrite core is inserted and disposed in the hollow housing portion around which the coil is wound. The inside of the housing is filled with an insulating filler. The ion generating element has sharp-pointed portions in which both ends thereof are pointed in two needle-like shapes, and a protective portion of a substantial "T" shape is extended between the sharp-pointed portions so as to prevent a direct physical contact between the sharp-pointed portions. The present invention has the effect of completely preventing the problem of a core of a ferrite material being deformed or broken due to rapid thermal expansion of the filler in the housing of the cluster ionizer due to a difference in thermal expansion coefficient. In addition, the present invention has the effect of generating a large amount of anions while preventing damage to the needle electrode itself and preventing damage from the needle electrode.
