Disclosed is a dash panel structure having a cord-like body (4) wired to a dash panel (3) and a component (19) other than the cord-like body (4) affixed to the dash panel (3) via a bracket (20), wherein the cord-like body (4) is affixed to bracket (20) and both the cord-like body (4) and the other component (19) are affixed to the dash panel (3) via the bracket (20). The cord-like body (4) is arranged more towards the vehicle rear side (Rr) than the surface (20M) of the bracket facing the engine (E). The areas (3K) on the dash panel (3) to which the affixed areas (28A, 29A) of the bracket (20) are affixed are set to have a lower rigidity than the bracket (20). By that means, if the bracket (20) is pushed towards the vehicle rear side (Rr) by the engine (E), the areas (3K) of the dash panel (3) to which the bracket (20) is affixed will deform before the bracket (20) does.
