Abstract:
An automotive DC-DC converter, wherein it is made easier to more suitably and more reliably perform low-loss switching in accordance with the input/output state. An automotive DC-DC converter (1), wherein a control unit (30) delays the OFF-timing of a second switching element (12A) until there is a change to a state (second state) in which a current flowing toward a reference conductive path (73) flows through the second switching element (12A) during a synchronous rectification period, and performs an end control of switching to an OFF state when the second state is in effect. The timing of the end control is determined on the basis of an input voltage detected by a first voltage detection unit (41), an output voltage detected by a second voltage detection unit (42), and an output current detected by a current detection unit (44). The control unit (30) switches a first switching element (11A) from an OFF state to an ON state when, in response to the end control, the voltage of a connection part (74) has increased and a first diode (11B) is conducting electricity.
