An automotive impact energy absorptive part 1 according to the present invention causes axial crushing to absorb impact energy when an impact force is input from the front or rear of an automotive body. The automotive impact energy absorptive part 1 comprises: a cylindrical member 3 having a top board part 5a, and a pair of vertical wall parts 5c continuing from the top board part 5a via corner parts 5b; a closed cross-sectional space forming wall member 9 arranged on an inner face side of the cylindrical member 3 in such a way that a closed cross-sectional space is formed at least between the closed cross-sectional space forming wall member 9 and the corner parts 5b; and a resin 11 provided in the closed cross-sectional space, wherein the resin 11 contains a rubber-modified epoxy resin and a curing agent, has a tensile elongation at break of at least 2% and less than 80%, does not lead to interfacial peeling and is excellent in water resistance, has a bonding strength between the cylindrical member 3 and the closed cross-sectional space forming wall member 9 of at least 12 MPa, and has a nominal compressive stress of at least 6 MPa at a nominal compressive strain of 10%.
